The Plattsburgh Rod and Gun Club offers both an indoor and outdoor archery shooting program. Come in out of the cold and rain. Sundays from 2:30 to 5pm.
The club welcomes both beginners and experience shooters and offers free instruction. The club also has bows and arrows to loan out to our visitors for free. During the winter months, they shoot indoors in our heated range. During the summer months they shoot both indoors or outdoors. Thanks to a grant from the Friends of NRA , the club is constructing a 3D archery course and has a several 3D targets for use.
Members pay 7$ to use the range ( Students and Juniors Pay $5) . Non-members pay $10 to use the range. Targets are provided at no cost.
The Clinton County 4-H also uses the club and its equipment once a month of various Saturdays.
