The pistol shooters meet year-round on Sundays (12 noon) , Wednesdays (6pm)  and Fridays (6pm), the range is also available most Saturdays at 11:00am. 

    We also offer a wide range of instructional classes and courses by various instructors;  NYS 16 hour Pistol Permit by Blue Talon Firearms and the Clinton County Pistol Instruction Organization, Law Enforcement HR Qualification by Blue Talon Firearms.  Plus we have advanced pistol classes, and NRA Instructor classes offered by various instructors .

   The club is also proud to be the local host sight for the Ladies of Liberty Organization.

The Pistol shooters welcome new shooters both experienced and beginner.  Free instruction is available.
 

    The group  shoots IDPA style in addition to target shooting. Any caliber pistol is allowed, however New York State requires a person to have a pistol permit to possess a pistol. The club hosts  a few pistol matches throughout a year and they participate  in a pistol league during the winter.

The range fee is $8 for members $12 for nonmembers.

Please note that the club shoots IDPA style on Wednesday nights.  Non IDPA shooting is done on Fridays at 6pm,  Please call for information and the contact number for this group.

    The club is proud to host a pistol safety course, pistol instruction classes and NRA Instructor certification classes on various Saturdays and Sundays throughout the year, see dates below.

     We also host the LEOSA HR 218 qualification course offered by Blue Talon Firearms  for retired law enforcement officers on Weekdays during the winter and Weeknights during the summer. For just $50

    The club provides ear and eye protection,  please have your NYS Pistol permit with you at the range.

The club requires that all firearms are brought into the club unloaded and safe unless you are a law enforcement officer or club range safety officer.

This course is required in order to complete the application process to obtain a NYS Concealed Carry Pistol Permit. 

This is a 18 hour course. (16 hours of theory in class, 2 hours of practical in range ) 

The cost for this course is $250 (This includes ALL necessary course materials and equipment required to meet the NY Qualification Standard)
